The difference between AutoCAD and SolidWorks

SolidWorks is what we call "parametric" solid models used for 3-D design. Parametric means that the issues can interact with one another and can be changed at any time during the design process to automatically change the independent section and all related documents (Drawing). AutoCAD is, however, primarily a 2-D design tool with several, but limited 3-D capabilities. It's very simple compared to any parametric solid model (although 3D is added in AutoCAD 2007). Autodesk (manufacturer of AutoCAD) produces a product that is almost like SolidWorks, called Inventor, a parametric application for designing solid objects and assemblies.

SolidWorks is a 3D mechanical CAD (computer assisted design) application that runs on Microsoft Windows. SolidWorks files use the Microsoft Structured storage file format. This means that there are various files embedded within each of the SLDDRWs, SLDPRTs, SLDASMs, with bitmaps, and metadata subdirectories. Various third-party tools can be used to process these subfolders, although in many cases the sub-files use specific binary formats. SolidWorks is a solid solid model of sunlit and enjoys a parametric feature based on model and assembly. Parameters refer to the limitations that apply to determining the model's shape or geometry. Parameters can be either numbers, such as line lengths or ring diameters, or geometric, such as touches, parallel, concentric, horizontal, or vertical. Numerical variables can be linked to each other using relationships, enabling them to capture design limits.

AutoCAD, like SolidWorks, is a software developer software for 2D and 3D design and design. AutoCAD was one of the first CAD applications to run on personal computers or home computers, especially IBM personal computers. At that time, most other CAD applications were running on computers on the main engines or computers that were connected to each user's computer system. Early versions of AutoCAD used basic companies such as lines, multiline lines, circles, rings, and text for highly constructed complex objects. Modern AutoCAD includes a full set of basic solid models and 3-D tools. With the release of AutoCAD 2007, the 3D model improved the light, which means better navigation when working in three sizes. Choosing a system that works for you depends solely on the type of work you want to do. Many experts say SolidWorks is more efficient when working on 3-dimensional design and that AutoCAD is the way to go in two-dimensional design.
